Canonmills Church from the outside

Where all are welcome

Since 1988, our congregation has called Canonmills home. Previously a
penny school attended by Robert Louis Stevenson, then a mission hall and a
base for the 46th Edinburgh Company of the Boys’ Brigade, today the historic
building is home to our vibrant church. We are an open-minded and
ecumenical church which operates within the Baptist principles of
independence and freedom of thought, welcoming people from all
backgrounds.

Join us in Worship

Ours is a ministry in which each member shares, where the deacons and congregation together participate actively as they are able. Our services are led by visiting ministers, from many branches of the Christian faith, who provide a rich variety of worship.

We can assure you of a warm reception – friends and newcomers alike. You are most welcome to join us. There are no strangers here.

We currently meet for worship at 11am on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month and information can be found on our Worship page.
